Sacramento Movers share weird moving tips that ACTUALLY work

Some people start their moving process with a stress-free mindset and then ten boxes later they find themselves tossing random items where ever they'll fit and inevitably, they loose their cool. Lets face it, moving can be tough, so here are some useful yet admittedly odd tips.

1. Donate

Purge all that stuff you don't need or want to pay someone to move for you. This is a great opportunity to give your old stuff to a local charity.

2. Forget the food

If you went grocery shopping recently and have a ton a food you don't feel like moving, donate it to the local food bank!

3. Utilize your space

Put your spices in the crock pot, keep clothes in drawers and keep your kids toys in the toy box. If you're using Two Men and a Truck we will pad & stretch wrap all of your furniture for no added cost.

4. Use your luggage to move

Place heavy items in your wheeled luggage. You're saving space and have a set of wheels to cart the otherwise heavy books out in. If you're using our services, we have lots of muscles to do that sort of work!

5. Secure small items in socks

Small items you want to keep protected can go inside of one sock and secured with another sock.

6. Two-night tote

Have a bag with two nights worth of closthes, toiletries, etc. When you're between homes, you'll thank yourself because having the items you need for a few days allows you more time to relax before unpacking in a panic!
